Implementing an e-commerce model at IT Edge Pro

UAB IT Edge Pro implemented the European Union-funded project “Implementing an e-commerce model at UAB IT Edge Pro”, No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860-01-0839 (the Project). UAB IT Edge Pro is a company providing system architecture, consulting, and hardware and software compatibility and testing services.

The company’s main niche is currently data protection that is independent of the cloud service provider — backup copies are always kept with a different cloud provider from the one holding the client’s production data. The company plans to provide backup, disaster recovery and business continuity management consulting services. To respond to changing customer needs and trends in its field, UAB IT Edge Pro initiated the project “Implementing an e-commerce model at UAB IT Edge Pro”, under which it plans to deploy customer self-service solutions on an e-commerce platform in order to digitise and automate its customer self-service processes, manage business transactions electronically and increase revenue growth. The customer self-service solutions deployed during the Project will allow the company to optimise its customer service and transaction management processes and make them more efficient. These innovations will ensure high service quality and will substantially increase the company’s productivity by simplifying, rationalising and automating its processes.

The Project is partly funded by the European Regional Development Fund under measure No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860 “E-commerce model COVID-19” of priority 13, “Promoting actions to overcome the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and preparing for a green, digital and sustainable economic recovery”, of the 2014–2020 European Union Funds Investments Operational Programme.

The total value of the Project is EUR 56,300.00, of which EUR 42,225.00 is a European Union grant and EUR 14,075.00 is the company’s own contribution.

Project activities began on 15 February 2022 and were completed on 14 February 2023.
